Toyota did a great job with their prius emitting 104.00g/km–far lower than the conventional car and even still among it’s competing hybrids. Although relying on an electric engine at times, the prius still relies on gasoline and a conventional engine.
The Nissan leaf however, is a 100% electric zero-emission vehicle. Nissan being the first to build an affordable zero-emission car, I would say, Nissan may be the company that will cut emissions the best.
