Just like when you go green yourself try to make sure all the products that you buy for you cat are as green as the stuff you buy for yourself. Buy food that has high quality ingredients wholesome ingredients from responsible companies. Avoid scoop-able cat litter as that clay has to be strip mined. There are many good litter alternatives like pine shavings, recycled newspaper pellets, wheat hulls ect ect. It is best to keep your cat indoors to avoid kitty from hunting your backyard wildlife. Also make sure to get your cat spayed/neutered to prevent pet overpopulation and ferrel cat populations that wreak havoc on the local wildlife.
