What products can I use from the kitchen to mop my floors?

    There are mops that are specifically labeled as being eco-friendly.  The brand Method has one availab.  Seventh Generation has a wide variety of good cleaning products.  Vinegar and hydrogen peroxide are very good, inexpensive multi-purpose cleaning products that can even replace the use of bleach.

    Yes, depending on the flooring material. For vinyl, linoleum and wood, you can use a mixture of vinegar (distilled white) and warm water (1 to 1 ratio). But, do not use this if you have natural stone such as marble or limestone. If you have grouted ceramic title, use 1/2 cup vinegar to 1 gallon water.

    A good natural product that can be used to mop many types of surfaces is vinegar mixed with water. For tough stains on softer floors such as linoleum, you can make a paste of baking powder and gently wipe the spot with a wet cloth as well.
