First of all make sure the chickens are still young. Hens lay the most eggs in the first two years of their life then the number steadily decreases. Another thing you’ll want to make sure of is that there’s enough light. It is recommended to turn on a light in the mornings and evenings for extended light periods to encourage them to lay. Last, make sure they’ve got a regular schedule. Having their environment disrupted will sometimes make them stop laying for a couple weeks, so just make sure they’ve got a regular schedule going for maximum egg production.
