First of all, remember the three golden words: reduce, reuse and recycle. Use eco friendly products, aim to use renewable energy as opposed to burning more fossil fuels, walk or cycle to work instead of driving your car, and use public transportation for longer distances, switch off electricity when not in use, don’t waste water, aim to spread awareness about climate change/global warming and think about “green alternatives” for every lifestyle choice that you make.
Something that you should remind yourself about is that you are far more powerful than you realize. Even if you think that you’re one person and you don’t really matter in the grand scheme of things, you are a consumer and companies basically work to please you. Make your purchasing decisions smart (renewable and local) and get others around you to do the same. If you couple respectable consumerism with political activism (get the word out, have your friends do the same!), you can effectively combat climate change.
