    Biosafety is using knowledge, technology and equipment to prevent exposure to potentially hazardous substances, like biohazards. From a medical dictionary “Biosafety defines the containment conditions under which infectious agents can be safely manipulated.” By using methods of biosafety you prevent lab workers and hospital workers from being exposed to contaminants and possibly harmful substances.
