What is biodiesel made of?

    Biodiesel is generated from the combination of organically derived oils (vegetable oils, animal fats, and recycled restaurant grease) and alcohol (usually methanol).  This combinated produces fatty esters, such as methyl ester, as well as glycerine (a by-product used in the production of soap).
