What is the biggest wild animal in Florida?

    Aside from humans, the largest animals in Florida are alligators. Alligators usually grow up to 13 feet long, but have been known to grow over 15 feet and weigh as much as half a ton in some cases. Other than non-native livestock like cattle or horses, the only animals that can rival them in size are large cats like jaguars, however, they only weigh in at a few hundred pounds.
