    The Trupeter Swan is the largest of the water birds. It weighs 35 pounds and has a 7 to 8 foot wingspan.

    The largest water bird in terms of length are th mute and trumpeter swans wich can reach 5.5 feet long, in terms of height it would be the whooping crane and the sandhill crane able to reach 6.7ft tall, in terms of wingspan it is the marabou stork and mute and trumpeter swans with up to 13,12,11 ft wingspans, in terms of weight it is the trumpeter swan able to reach 35lbs, although one mute swan was recorded weighing 50lbs!
