The largest specie of earthworm is probably the Giant Gippsland earthworm (largest on average).  This worm averages lengths of 100 cm and 2 cm in diameter and when relaxed can reach up to 2 meters long.  The worm is restricted to southern Gippsland, a rural area in southeastern Australia.
