What is the biggest threat to polar bears?

Global warming is the greatest threat to polar bears.  Each year, as the climate and ocean temperature rises, the ice sheets in the arctic become thinner and thinner and last for shorter amounts of time.  This is threatening the lives of polar bears because this means the polar bears have less time to fish through the ice and that many of them are drowning as a result of falling through thin ice.
