The Red Fish, or Ocean Perch is the largest of the Perch family.
More colloquially known as the Ocean Perch, Sebastes marinus is the largest of the oceanic perch family (largely because they dwell in shallower waters where they are safe from the larger predators frequently encountered by their deep warter relatives). The average Ocean Perch can grow to be up to two and a half feet in length.
