The largest wind farm in the world is in west Texas. It has 627 turbines. This gives it the capacity to generate enough electricity to power over 200 000 homes. It cost more than one billion dollars to build.
It is called “Horse Hollow Wind Energy Center” and it is located in Texas. It takes up nearly 47,000 acres of land in both Taylor and Nolan counties in Texas.
