What is the biggest problem with storm-water runoff?

The biggest problem would be the stuff it picks up as it drains into the sewer system. Any dirt, feces, chemicals, etc that it picks up goes directly to lakes, rivers, and streams. This, in turn, could have negative effects on our activities (swimming, fishing, etc) and everyday lives (drinking water).
