    Northern Ireland’s Lough Neagh is the United Kingdom’s largest lake. It has an area of 392 square kilometers (151 square miles) and an average depth of 9 meters (30 feet). It is about 30 kilometers (20 miles) long and 15 kilometers (9 miles) wide.

    Lough Neagh is also the largest freshwater lake in the British Isles.
