    The biggest hydroelectric dam in Washington is the Grand Coulee Dam.  It was completed being built in 1942, and has a production capacity of 6,809 MW.  It is actually the biggest hydropower producer in the United States.  The dam forms Lake Roosevelt, which has a total surface area of 82,000 acres.
