Electric vehicles have to jump the initial expense hurtle to make them more widely accessible. Also, the infrastructure of charging stations for people to use away from home is also costly and one that will have to be confronted before mass production is possible. As it stands, electric car batteries last for local commutes and can’t make it for long trips. The potential is huge for electric cars once infrastructure is in and more car companies are finally getting on board.
