I found this story on snopes which investigates rumors of a really big deer. People claim that this deer is 412 lbs, and though it certainly is big…it really isn’t anywhere near 412 lbs.

In terms of racks and points, the second link details the current records. The number (I think) indicates the measurement from the furthest point on one antler to the furthest point on the other. Typical vs non-typical is easy to understand when you look at the picture; it has to do with the shape of the rack.
