What is the biggest carbon emitter in south east Asia?

    Indonesia is considered the biggest carbon emitter in Southeast Asia.  It releases a reported 59% of the regions total emissions and 12% of the world’s emissions.  This is due to a number of reasons:

    1. Their large number of forest fires that release large amounts of carbon in the air.
    2. Deliberate deforestation
    3. Poor land use
