In terms of floor area, the Palazzo is the largest building in the western hemisphere with a surface area of 6.9 million square feet. The Willis Tower, formerly Sears Tower, in Chicago, is the tallest building in the western hemisphere. It’s 1,450 feet tall and 110 stories high, and a total enclosed area of 4.56 million square feet. If it were spread out on one floor, it would cover 105 acres.
