Spiders are usually not dangerous, so you could just take a piece of cloth, grab the spider with that, and throw them outside if you have a backyard. You most likely will not see them again. Of course, spiders can often be in hard-to-reach places, so you may need a stepstool or chair in order to get them. It’s probably not the easiest way to get rid of them, but it is simple and environmentally friendly.
If you’re one of those people that just gets the jeebies when you see a spider, I can understand wanting to remove them from your home. However, if you can tolerate their presence, they’re actually rather nice to have around. Very few spiders are dangerous to humans, and they’ll eat insects in your home that are more of a problem, such as mosquitoes and moths (which eat clothing and get into food).
If you really cannot stand spiders, or you find that dangerous spiders have invaded your home, here is a list of things you can do to discourage those eight-legged creatures without using chemical products.
1. Clean house! Spiders like cardboard and clutter, so clean up all cardboard and make sure closets and underneath beds are clean and without places to hide. And do not leave clothing, towels, and other debris on the floor where spiders can find refuge.
2. Clear out unwanted vegetation from around your house, including Ivy or other vines, which are a haven for them. Seal all cracks that may lead spiders indoors.
3. Keep trash bags and bins away from the house where spiders will lay in wait for bugs that are attracted to the garbage.
4. Cover pet food.
I have also heard that spiders hate Eucalyptus leaves, so if you want to sleep better at night, keep some Eucalyptus leaves on your beside table.
I think that the best way of getting rid of spiders is by putting poisen were it is most likley for them to live in like dark old places for instinces under a couch in a garage or even a basement. if you take a spider one by one out i think you would never get done.
