This is a difficult question to answer because each type of renewable energy has its pros and cons. For example, we could argue that solar is great because the sun is a limitless supply of energy (essentially) and it’s relatively easy to construct solar plants. However, solar doesn’t work at night but wind does. But wind energy requires large wind farms that obstruct not just scenery but the flight path of birds. There’s really no quantitative way to weigh all these different issues. I would say the best type of renewable energy is a combination system that tries to maximize the pros and minimize the cons of each type of energy production method at the location they are building.
