What is the best type of propellant for fire?

Any solvent is going to propel a fire – gasoline, MEK, acetone, kerosene – as a liquid as long as it isn’t doused on a low tempature fire. Gas propellants will also work such as propane, MAPP gas, and acetylene but have a higher kick back danger to the user.
