Although we love our talk of superfoods and nutrient-rich foods, the best way to get all the nutrients you need (and not MORE than you need!) is to eat a healthy, balanced diet. Of course, there are foods the food groups that are better for you. Soy-based products are rich in many nutrients, from vitmain B6 to protein. Many vegetables are filled with nutrients as well.
Try don’t to get caught up in our nutrient-crazed culture! There is no one food that’s the “best” for anybody. If you eat a balanced diet, you WILL get everything you need, although certain foods may make it easier to balanced out your diet (like soy products and so on). It is best to have a well-rounded diet and each ample foods from each of the food groups. Make sure you have vegetables and fruits, meats, starches such as pasta or rice. Make sure you drink water to keep yourself hydrated. Dairy products are important as a supply of vitamin D and calcium.
