The most evident and tangible evidence of global warming is the acceleration of the melting of the northern glaciers. Sea level is rising as a result. All of this is physical evidence that can be seen and measured. There is also physical scientific evidence of a steady increase of atmospheric greenhouse gas levels in a correlation with the increase in average global temperature. Naysayers like to point out that the Antarctic zones have not warmed and in some places glacier ice is accumulating. This is due to the natural cycles of the earth that cause warming and cooling over very long periods of time. They are called the Milankovich Cycles. These cycles account for the dynamics and trajectory of the earth in relation with the sun. The problem is proving causation, not correlation.
