Replace saturated fats like butter with unsaturated fats like olive oil or grape seed oil. Eat low fat protein sources like beans, fish, and skim milk instead of cold cuts, ribs etc.. Eat more fruits and vegetables to get insoluable and soluable fiber. Choose whole grains over white bread. Reduce sodium and portion size as well. Another thing I might recommend, is to avoid smoking, alcohol, caffeine, or chocolate. All of these raise blood pressure.
