The best manure to grow anything in is aged chicken manure and if it’s too fresh it can end up killing a plant. Too much manure will also kill a plant, therefore the best way is to try manure-soil combination’s are on test batches and analyze the pH levels against what is recommended. Store bought manure-soil combination’s can also aid in the growing process. Be sure to watch the Nitrogen and Salt levels of whatever you end up using.
