There are many benefits. Not only will there be healthcare available to those who have been previously denied such as those with cancer and chronic and mental health issues, but those with preventable conditions will not have their diseases escalate to a critical level where resources are wasted on more expensive operations. Also, people will be healthier because the healthcare is more widely available, and people will have more freedom to quit occupations and move around without being tied down to health insurance obligations. Also, it will provide competition to health insurance companies, and will probably help to lower healthcare costs as well.
