Too much water vapor can definitely be bad for the environment. When you have more water vapor, which is itself a greenhouse gas, this increases the “warming effect of increased atmospheric levels of carbon dioxide.” Scientists term this a “positive feedback.”
In order words, the sunlight reflects off the water vapor traps the sunlight from exiting the earth. This happens also when aerosols get into the earth’s atmosphere. I am sure too much water vapor in certain areas also messes up the weather patterns.
