That really depends on the brand. Usually it’s a collection of chemicals (in the sense of chemistry- it doesn’t necessarily have to contain quite the artificial connotation that word usually carries) based off of cow or goat milk that contains enough nutrients to mimic the effect of actual breast milk. There are certain standards that must be applied and are actively enforced by government agencies, but depending on the particular formula it could contain any number of different ingredients.
