The average size of a Grizzly Bear is between 5 and 8 feet (standing on back legs) and weigh an average of 800 pounds. Grizzlys are at the top of the food chain eating mainly nuts and berries, but sometimes hunt and will take down creatures from rodents to large moose. Even though they may be huge, Grizzlys have been tracked running as fast as 30 miles per hour.
