Well karson, If you look at the three major points of air traffic in America, San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York, we can establish some averages. The average plane trip from SF to LA is roughly an hour in the air, whereas from LA or SF to NY is considerably longer, ranging from seven to nine hours airborne. So I’d have to say the average is about four. Happy flying, and have a green day!
O’Hare in Chicago, Logan in Boston, and Miami International are also major hubs, separately by anywhere from 2 to 3 hours. If you’re traveling across the country, it would be around 4 or 5, but along the coast considerably shorter.
