Obviously the shorelines of any and all countries will be effected. Island nations, especially with low elevation, will be the most adversely effected. The U.N. has predicted a ride of 22.8in in sea level. A rise of this level will flood thousands of acres of land and will displace countless people.
The island nation of the Maldives is one such country. The entire country is no higher than 6ft above sea level. A rise in the sea, of the 22.8in as predicted, could flood the majority of the nations 1,192 islands displacing 369,000 and making them homeless. As a result of this prediction the nation has set a goal to be entirely free of carbon use within one decade.
