A wind farm is a group of windmills that harness the power of the wind and convert it through turbines into electric power. This energy is a sustainable and comes from a renewable source (the wind), and wind farms can be found in different parts of the U.S. and Europe, among other places. The largest wind farm in the world is the Roscoe Wind Complex in Roscoe, Texas. Its 627 turbines over 100,000 acres of land produce enough electric power to power 230,000 homes.
