The list of commonly used household toxins is quite large. I’ll give you a few and their sources, and you can read up on the links below for a more complete list. One common household toxic is Triclosan – this can be found in common deoderants, liquid soaps, toothpastes and other cosmetics and is linked to immune system and endocrine system dysfunction. Another is perfluorinated chemcals – these are found in non-stickware and non-stain surfaces such as teflon-coated cookware, microwave popcorn bags, and stain-proof furniture, carpeting and clothing. This is linked with certain cancers and developmental problems.
