On a personal consumer level, one must look at their lifestyle practices to see where they give off GHG in order to reduce their levels. Driving an automobile is one of the biggest that people make on a consumer level so supporting hybrid, electric and other green technologies are all important. If you can’t afford a hybrid car, which many of us can’t, it’s about making sure you upkeep your vehicle to operate at peak efficiency. There are now green oil changes and filters that have less of a footprint. At home it means consuming less energy. One of the biggest ones that people haven’t adjusted to is eating more sustainable, local food, which in many events means less meat. Once changes are made on the consumer level, the industrial businesses will be forced to follow suit.
