In the coastal fishing village of Chao Mai, Thailand, the ecosystem is becoming upset due to the expansion of commercial fishing in this area that is destroying the natural balance of the environment. The Wildlife Fund Thai organization along with support from the local villagers sought to restrict destructive fishing techniques to save the delicate sea grass area and enforce the 3,000 meter coastal limit. This technique mainly focused on reducing the impact of big business upon what was a thriving small fishing village.
