Some new solar technologies use copper, zinc, tin, and sulfur. These are all elements that are plentiful and easy to harvest. This is one huge benefit of solar technology. While it does take some natural resources to make the panels, they do not require rare or expensive elements and will not negatively impact the environment during production.
