There are a lot of things that can be done to conserve water. Getting an eco-friendly showerhead will help save gallons of water per minute. Also, cutting shower time in half will do a lot of good. Making sure that all the faucets in the house shut off all the way and are leak free is a good practice that conserves water. If the toilet uses more water to flush than necessary, putting a brick or something similar will reduce the amount of water used in the tank. Things like watering the lawn and plants at the right times of the day also help out. Another water conservation practice is to wash dishes and clothes only when the loads are full.
