By looking at American trade associations, you can see what is manufactured domestically.
Of course, a great many products manufactured in the US, from cars to pots and pans, rely on commodities imported from elsewhere.
There is no such thing as a “100% American” automobile, and there never has been – from aluminum to copper, neodymium to platinum, US cars contain huge volumes of imported material. The same can be said for a vast number of other things that are labeled “made in USA.”
