What are some other sleep cycles that people have?

    The sleep that most people have is called the monophasic sleep cycle. Where you sleep once, for 6-8 hours and are awake for the rest. However here are some other interesting sleep cycles that you might consider trying:

    • Uberman Cycle, where you take 30 minute naps every 4 hours, for a total of 6 naps, and only 3 hours of sleep a day.



    • Everyman Cycle, where you have one core sleeping time, usually a 3 hours nap, and then 3 more 30 minute naps. Usually the easiest to transition to.



    • Dymaxion Cycle, where you only have 30 minute naps every 6 hours, which is only 4 naps a day, and a total of ONLY 2 hours of sleep!!



    All are supposed to reduce you amount of sleep while still keeping you refreshed and awake.

    I think it’s also important to understand sleep disorders, because a lot of people – about 33% of the general population – suffer from them.
