There are various natural remedies that have been reported to aid with the itching and rash that come from exposure to poison oak, ivy or sumac. These include tea tree oil, jewelweed, aloe, and comphry tea. Different amounts in different combinations have been reported to have varying effects.

There are numerous natural remedies to combat poison ivy, oak, and sumac. To name a few: tea tree oil, jewelweed, aloe vera gel, goldenseal root, rat vein tea, wild peach tea, rubarb, honey suckle, polk salad root, and milkweed.
Of all the remedies to try, it seems that most sufferers swear by tea tree oil and aloe vera.
