According to the CIA world factbook, Cambodia’s major natural resources are: timber, gemstones, some iron ore, manganese, phosphates, hydropower potential. Of these, timber, gemstones, and phosphates are the most profitable. Cambodia also has an abundance of aquatic natural resources (fish, crabs, etc), though pollution has made this less viable as an option for international economic expansion.
