It’s important to know what kind of headache you have, because the treatment differs, Willow bark is effective for regular headaches, while magnesium is a good treatment for migraines. Feverfew and acerola cherries are good for all kinds of headaches. Massages may or may not be effective.

Pauleen is correct to say that the treatment for headaches depend on the cause. Massage is very good if you have a tension headache. Tension headaches are caused by sore neck and shoulder muscles. These muscles extend upward along the temples and the sides of the skull.
If you have a headache between your eyebrows, you might need glasses or have a sensitivity to light.
If you have a sinus headache, your face will ache, especially to either side of your nose and beneath your eyebrows. For a sinus headache, steaming your face with eucalyptus and peppermint essential oil is very helpful. A simple technique for stress and headaches with lasting effects is meditating, releasing your mind and body from worries, and through clearing it of all thought you might just see your headache fade away naturally (:

You can try taking a warm bath or shower, rub your temples (WebMD says to: “Apply gentle, steady rotating pressure to the painful area of your head with your index finger and/or thumb. Drinking a cup of chamomile tea is supposed to relieve headaches. Ginger not only helps relieve headaches but can prevent them as well.
