A recent study from the University of Washington found at least 10 chemicals that are “regulated as toxic or hazardous under federal laws” in fabric softeners and fragrances, including:
Acetaldehyde, Acetone, Benzaldehyde, tert-butyl alcohol, 2-butanone, Chloromethane, Ethanol, Ethyl acetate and others.
