Good question, Jaydenknight. Because geoengeneering has such an enormous scope (our entire planet), many different ideas have been proposed and a lot of them are good. I think the two main focuses that geoengeneering has is solar radiation management and greenhouse gas sequestration. Basically reflecting more light away from the earth and capturing greenhouse gases, both things that would keep our planet from warming. In a British documentary called “Five Ways to Save the World,” five good ideas were highlighted: space lenses in orbit to diffract light away from the earth, cloud seeding with seawater to reflect away more light, launching sulfur into the stratosphere to reflect away more light, ocean fertilization with iron or urea to help capture co2, and artificial trees to help capture co2.
Hope this helps!
