That depends on where you are located and how far you are willing to travel. I have been to the Green Festival in San Francisco twice and found that it was a lot of fun. Also, my town of Davis hosts and annual “Whole Earth Festival” which is also fantastic. About a month ago, there was a smaller festival put on by Cool Davis which had a whole section for children’s activities. So, my best recommendation to you is to see if your city/town has a wiki website similar to this one and then search festivals from there.
Like happyhodges mentioned, it of course depends on where you live but check out the sites below for some fun options:
Evanston Green Living Festival (IL): http://www.evanstongreenfest.org/Kids.html
Children’s Earth Day (CA): http://www.ecostation.org/ecostation/eventearthday.htm
It’s also a good idea to check your local paper for upcoming events. The local town library or YMCA will also have good tabs on what’s going on in your area. Places like Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods also often have ongoing events that cater to kids and have an green bent to them.
