Everything can be made green — even sleeping bags! Green sleeping bags are now being made with a fiber made from coconut husks that is said to not only provide UV protection (you wanted a sleeping bag, not a tanning bed, right?) but also help with odor management (no one likes a stinky bed!). Other materials include recycled plastic bottles (like those Whole Foods reusable bags made out of just plastic water bottles!) to help make the shell and for additional insulation. Bamboo is being used to keep you warm as the main ingredient for fill.
