According to Consumer Reports, Tom’s of Maine Natural Anticavity Baking Soda Fluoride Toothpaste is the best natural toothpaste out there. It contains no saccharin and is sweetened with xylitol instead and uses calcium carbonate as the abrasive, making it less abrassive than non-natural products. However, it slacks a little in removing stains. Nature’s Gate natural toothpaste also gets good reviews on other sites.
Burts Bees is a natural brand that I trust and use regularly. They have a toothpaste made with natural ingredients. They make toothpaste for whitening and regular-care. Burts Bees offers fluoride and fluoride-free toothpaste. There aren’t any artificial flavorings, colors, or preservatives. It uses cranberry extract as its means for preventing plaque.
Yes there are! Check out Jason’s Naturals, they have a pretty cheap organic toothpaste for the price of $4. However, I’ve have never tried it. There is also Creme de Toothpaste for $3 – which you can find online for that price. There is even toothpaste for small children called Earth’s Best Toddler Toothpaste and it’s priced for $4.
