Air pollution, emission of greenhouse gasses, and poisoning of the world’s oceans are all forms of pollution which necessarily affect us on a global level.
Air pollution is the probably worst form of global pollution, stemming from natural occurrences and human activities, such as driving, deforestation, and industrial uses. The gases that are released and trapped in the atmosphere strongly affect our climate, animal life, and our health. Water pollutants account for 65,000 deaths each year. The pollution from power plants causes 3,500 lung cancer cases and over 35,000 heart attacks annually, and that is in the United States alone. In under-developed areas where governmental measures aren’t as strict, the pollution is even more dangerous.
